An Anchor Home Inspectors’ home inspection is a non-invasive, physical examination of readily accessible components, systems and structure of the home. Though home inspectors are good, they do not have x-ray eyes and can only inspect what is readily viewable. For example, if there is a broken pipe in a wall that leaks, and there are no signs of leaking or staining on the outside of the wall or floor areas, we won’t see it and thus can’t report on the leak. Anchor Home Inspectors do not disassemble systems like heating and air conditioning for example. If there is a problem found during the inspection, Anchor Home Inspectors’ report will suggest that you seek a qualified service professional for further evaluation. Anchor Home Inspectors is, to use this comparison, similar to a doctor who is a general practitioner.

If, during the inspection Anchor finds a problem needing correction, you will be referred to an appropriate specialist, just like the general practitioner would do for you during a medical examination. Anchor Home Inspectors will use digital photography to document any issues, if found. These photographs will be in your Anchor Home Inspectors’ report, right next to the location in the report that is discussing the problem. There is no reading our report about a problem if found and then having to refer to a photograph about the problem in another location of the report.

There will also be a summery as part the Anchor home Inspectors’ report. It will list any concerns and touch only the main areas of interest. While the summery is for your convenience, please read the entire report for a complete picture of the home.
